We were delighted to welcome Deloitte employees, Helen Jackson, Ryan Hodge, Tom Keningley and Qasim Khan to deliver a CV writing workshop for our students.

The workshop was offered as part of Deloitte UK’s Responsible Business strategy, One Million Futures, which seeks to overcome barriers to education and employment by giving individuals the skills and opportunities to succeed.

Helen Jackson an Analyst at Deloitte said:

“We really enjoy the opportunity to share our skills and knowledge with students throughout our range of employability sessions provided under the One Million Futures programme. The CV writing workshop aims to provide students with a greater understanding of the importance of CVs and application forms, and offer guidance on how to develop and refine their own CVs.

We were impressed with the level of participation throughout the session and how engaged the students were. It was a very enjoyable session and we hope that the students gained some useful tips to assist with their future CV writing”.

Alison Stoddart, Guidance and Recruitment Coordinator added:

“It’s really important for our students to improve their employability skills, whilst they are at College and this is a great opportunity for them to access support from people who can give them an employer viewpoint.
